SERVPRO of Franklin County helped First Presbyterian Church of Union get back to business! Give us a call if you experience water damage.

Water damage is not something anyone wants to see in their home, let alone their business. First Presbyterian Church of Union had to face this when their roof had a leak. We spoke with Mike and Myron of the church to get more of their view on this disaster. They explained that it was not something they expected to see and that it was unnerving. Mike says “It was in sad shape when I called you guys. Rain was still coming in through the roof, but Jerry and Nate came in and really helped!”

One of the employees knew of SERVPRO of Franklin County and mentioned to call us. Myron says, “We decided to Spearhead this thing…. he had worked with SERVPRO and was familiar with the services.” They also note that they were happy to see the wide array of services we offer and that we could handle reconstruction and anything else they might need in the future. Mike included “This was the first time dealing with something like this, but we felt very included. It turned out great- absolutely awesome!”

First Presbyterian had to have the roof repaired before work could begin to ensure that no more water would come in, but then SERVPRO quickly began drying the area. Myron and Mike both gave high praise on the inclusion they had throughout the process and how educated they were on every step. Mike says, “Any questions we had were answered and I especially appreciated the open-door policy with Jerry or Nate. I could ask anything or walk in if needed.”

SERVPRO took care of the needed reconstruction as well, including drywall and painting. They were grateful to have everything restored in a way that seemed true to the church. Mike talks a bit more about how Dan, a SERVPRO carpenter, really made an impact. “When Dan came along and started it helped A LOT. He’s a super guy and was very thorough in all he did. I couldn’t believe how well he was able to blend the new interior in with the old- just a super job!” Mike adds in that anyone coming into the church can’t even tell where the damage occurred because the reconstruction was executed so well. “We are still getting compliments on the job you did to this day. No one can tell where the leak caused damage or where the repairs are- even people who’ve been coming to this church for YEARS. It’s amazing! The whole congregation is happy and so appreciative.”

First Presbyterian Church of Union says they will recommend SERVPRO to other businesses, family, and friends in the future. Mike says, “You all went above and beyond, and truly lived up to the "Like it never even happened," slogan. We will definitely call you for anything in the future.” Mike has even used us to perform a duct cleaning on his own home since the close of this project. “I had you guys come out and duct clean my house. I told Nate that you did such a great job and I trusted you to clean my ducts.”
